About

I’m Kevin, a designer, writer, and artist working across visual design, creative systems, and personal practice.

My work has moved between music, design, writing, and visual art, but it is consistently grounded in the same interest: how people make meaning through images, systems, language, and sound.

I began my career in music, writing and producing work that reached international audiences and required both creative intuition and a lot of coordination behind the scenes. Over time, I moved into design and digital product work, focusing on building clear, human-centered systems and experiences across education, startup, and independent projects.

Alongside my professional work, I have maintained a long-standing personal practice of drawing and painting. Visual art and writing are central to how I think and process the world. They continue to shape how I approach design, not as separate disciplines, but as overlapping ways of observing, interpreting, and communicating.

I have studied music composition at Seattle Pacific University, graphic design at the Art Institute of Portland, and counseling and therapy at Western Seminary. I recently completed a UX and UI certification through Springboard. Each stage has contributed to how I understand people, systems, and creative work, and how those things connect in practice.

More recently, I have been drawn toward work that sits closer to communication, service, and human experience. I am interested in environments where clarity, care, and structure help support something larger than the tools themselves.
